On January 15, 2025, a card processing data center in Florida experienced a power loss and hardware failure. This incident has impacted banks and credit unions across the country, leading to two main issues:
1. **Double Postings:** Some transactions have been recorded twice. We are receiving daily reports of these double postings and are working diligently to resolve them.
2. **Delayed Transaction Postings:** Transactions that were authorized but had not yet been cleared are now being processed 14 to 18 days later. Most of these transactions were posted to accounts on February 4, 2025.
We anticipate that these issues will be fully resolved by February 11th, 2025. Once everything has been corrected, we will send out notifications.
